If you've ever hosted a party, you probably know that preparing food for your event and serving it take up a lot of time. So, this holiday season, we’re here to provide you with some simple recipes so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time mingling with your guests!

Here is a delicious and easy recipe, courtesy of foodnetwork.com, for a classic appetizer – hot artichoke dip! This appetizer is a crowd favorite and one the kids will be sure to love as well! 

Ingredients
  • 1 block of cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 2 green onions, sliced thin
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper


Directions
Preheat your over to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with a mixer until texture is smooth. Then add in the mayonnaise, mix until smooth. Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir together until combined.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and dip is bubbling. Serve with your choice of crackers, toasted bread, veggies or tortilla chips.

Holiday Party Recipe That's Sure to be a HIT!

Will you be attending any holiday parties within the next few weeks? What better way to show your appreciation for your invite then with a baked good?

Here is a delicious recipe for blondies, courtesy of foodnetwork.com! Blondies are a classic dessert that 
everyone is sure to love!

Ingredients
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 5 1/3 tablespoons (1/3 cup) unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped hazelnuts
  • ¼ cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips or chunks


Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mist an 8-inch square glass baking dish with cooking spray. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl.

Beat the butter and cream cheese in a large bowl with a mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Add the brown sugar and beat 3 to 4 more minutes. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix on low speed until just combined. Fold in the hazelnuts, coconut and chocolate chips. Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake! Insert a toothpick in the center of the pan until it comes out clean. Bake for about 35-40 minutes. Let blondies cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting.

Holiday Baked Goods Gift Ideas!

This is a great way to put a personal touch on your gift and show your loved ones how much you truly care! There are plenty of recipes and ideas out there that are perfect for gift giving. Here are a few to get you started, courtesy of foodnetwork.com!

Chocolate Fudge
Melt ½ a stick of butter, 4 cups of marshmallows, 1 cup cream, 2 cups sugar and a pinch of salt in a saucepan. Let it simmer, by stirring for 5 minutes.
Off the heat, stir in 3 cups chocolate chips until smooth.  Spread into a foil-lined 9 by 13 inch pan. Let it cool and cut into squares. Wrap up your cooled fudge in cellophane and holiday ribbon and you’re all set!

Coconut-Almond Truffles
Combine ¾ cup almond butter, ½ cup each confectioners’ sugar and unsweetened shredded coconut, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder and ½ teaspoon of vanilla – work into dough.
Roll into balls, and then roll in shredded coconut. Chill until ready to package or serve!

Cinnamon Marshmallows (kids will love this one)
Drizzle marshmallows with melted chocolate and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Chill until firm. Wrap up your marshmallows and give them as a gift with hot chocolate! These marshmallows are a perfect touch to a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter night!
