Festive Ways To Celebrate July 4th!

Do you have plans for the 4th of July yet? If not, here are some places to go and join in the fun to celebrate Independence Day in a festive way!

SAG HARBOR -Saturday, June 30, 2012- Fireworks - Around 9:30 p.m. in Sag Harbor, fireworks will soar to the sky from a barge. You'll be able to watch from Marine Park, Haven's Beach, the Long Wharf, restaurants on the waterfront and more. (Sag Harbor Yacht Club members and invited guests ONLY at the Yacht Club.)

RIVERHEAD -Sunday, July 3 -5-9:30 p.m. Independence Day celebration on the Peconic Riverfront, Riverhead, NY. Family concert with Who Are Those Guys, followed by Brady Rymer and The Little Band That Could, and rock and roll superstars tribute band Rock & Roll Review. The evening ends with a spectacular fireworks display.

ELMONT -Sunday, July 1 - Belmont Park Family Fun Day/State Fair - Bring the whole family for Family Fun Day activities in Belmont's backyard. OAKDALE -Sunday, July 1, 2012 - Firecracker 5K Race/Walk Time: Registration at 7:30 a.m. Race starts at 9 a.m. sharp at Dowling College, Curtin Center, 150 Idle Hour Boulevard, Oakdale, NY. $20 preregistered, $25 on the day of the race.
